Directions from Johannesburg 

Take the Malibongwe turnoff from N1 and turn towards Lanseria Airport (away from town). Follow this road past Lanseria Airport for some distance (+ 30 Km) until you come to a T- junction.  Turn left towards Brits / Rustenburg and continue some distance until you crest a hill and see the Hartbeespoort dam in front of you.  Continue down the hill and the road curves to your left and passes “Pecanwood Golf Estate”.  A short distance further you will see the first turn to your right marked as Brits/Rustenburg – turn right and cross over the bridge across the tail end of the Dam about 500m at the T-junction turn left.  You will pass Magalies Park and the Magalies Golf Estate entrances and 500m later will see the Sappersrust Heritage Centre sign on your left.  Turn into the dirt road and through the gates where you will see the main building.

Diretions from Pretoria 

Follow Church Street extension to the west  (Route 37) past Kalafong Hospital and Attridgeville to your left, towards Hartbeespoort Dam. Approximately 13 kilometers after the Kalafong / Lotus Gardens intersection, you will reach a 4 way intersection. Cross straight over and head for Broederstroom.

Alternatively, you could use the toll road from Pretoria and exit at the Pelindaba Toll Plaza. Continue west on this road – Route R512 – until you see the west side of the Hartbeespoort Dam on your right-hand side. This is ±9 or 10 kilometers from Broederstroom. Turn right at the road sign indicating “Brits and Sun City”. This road leads you over the long road bridge for approximately five kilometers, ending at another T – Junction. Turn left onto the R560 and after a kilometer or so you will pass the entrance to MAGALIES PARK on the left-hand side. Continue for a futher kilometer and just after passing under the power lines, you will see the entract to Sappers on your left hand side.
